The billionaire conservative Koch brothers have been ardent opponents of the American Jobs Act, President Obama's proposal for a new economic stimulus. Over at Americans for Prosperity, they're pushing a call to cut government spending, which results in more government jobs lost and higher unemployment.
But don't worry. A couple of hours ago, Koch Industries posted this map of places they're hiring: "For those concerned about jobs, Koch has some good news: it's looking to fill more than 1,240 jobs across the country."
At last count, about 14 million people are currently unemployed in the U.S., and nearly another 12 million either can't find enough work or have given up looking. (For the record, that comes out to 20,967 people for every available listing at Koch Industries.)
